Music Basti’s programs are managed and administered by Integrated Development Education Association (IDEA), an Indian non-governmental organization working for the empowerment of the powerless especially dalits, women and children, and differently gifted persons, with registration in 1991 under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860).

Strategies Access to information, generation of social awareness, organizational communities and creative action for socio- economic and political structural transformations and individual attitudinal changes.
Main activities
  • Pre funding and post funding project studies on behalf of funding agencies
  • Capacity building of NGOs, especially those working at the grass roots level, their functionaries and workers through Awareness Training for Motivation and Action (ATMA)
  • Networking of NGOs on such issues as Community Development Organizations (CDOs), Empowerment of Women, Panchayati Raj, Control and Management of Natural Resources, Food Security, Education and Health.
  • Monitoring, evaluation and documentation of activities of NGOs.
  • Development of learner centered and joyful content and methodology of education
